Google turns most popular search engine into ad for its own browser - Gizmodo
Google has tipped the browser scales and begun advertising Chrome on Google.com, even to users not signed in. I don’t remember a banner ever being there for Firefox, Safari, IE, Opera, OmniWeb, or Camino before.
This is wrong. Chrome is wrong. Besides testing for any work I need to do for Agile or other future employers, I don’t think I’ll be touching Chrome with a ten foot pole. Besides, when it comes to Chrome’s development, it’s clear that Google considers the Mac as a second-class citizen anyway (if not third-class). Four “major” releases in its first year and they just now get around to the Mac? Bite me.
I’m also moving my davebc.com email off of Google Apps. Google has finally crossed my personal threshold.
